Level 1 Support Technician

Sane Consulting Limited serves small, medium and larger businesses in Medicine Hat and beyond. Join our team of leaders who are constantly trying to better connect our customer networks cross-country. We partner with our customers to help them make sense of information technology and to help them run their operations faster, smarter and more cost-effectively. We currently wish to fill a Level 1 Technical Support Analyst position.

Level 1 Support technician - Open

Your duties will include:  

  • Providing first level telephone technical support and utilize remote access technology to assist, support, and advise to customers
  • Analyze problems, identify trends and problems rather than symptoms, and provide creative and timely solutions to customer problems
  • Install, modify, clean, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Interpret problems and provide technical support for hardware, software, and systems. Hand off support calls to Level 2 as appropriate
  • Ultimately resolve 70% to 80% of customer support issues.

You will Possess:

  • Successful completion of at least the first year of College IT program
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Experience in both Windows client or server operating systems
  • A professional attitude, with a focus on results
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Retail experience would be an asset in this position
  • A+ and Network+ certification would be an asset in this position
